The Laird and His LadyThe cold snow fell down with merciless relenting and the only shelter for two lone figures in the highlands of Scotland was a ruined castle that had been erroded by time and the weather. Both figures were working as fast as they could to build a temporary shelter next to one of the sturdy stone walls with loose rocks. Fallen tree branches were gathered hastily up before the two figures huddled behind the little stone fortress, closing it up with carefully placed stones on top of the others.
